[It's hardly uncommon for Oswin to fall asleep by the Doctor's side. What had started as just her crawling into his bed late at night after nightmares led to the discovery that his presence served very well as bad dream repellent and she really liked just having someone close to her in general.
So, all things considered, waking up in his bed really shouldn't be all that weird. Except the body she fell asleep pressed against definitely wasn't that small. And she really doesn't remember falling asleep holding anything or with her lips against anyone's hair.
Okay. Definitely weird.
Blearily, Oswin opens her eyes, only to be met with...herself. No, really, it's actually her lying there in her own arms and fast asleep. All things considered, she's actually seen weirder, but...well. Definitely not what she expected.]
...What? [The word drops from her lips unbidden and oh god that's definitely not her voice. What is this?]

He stays fast asleep. IT's been a while since he's let himself really sleep like this and even a big change like this hasn't woken him. He hasn't noticed their situation yet, and even his own voice doesn't stir him in the slightest.]
no subject
Oh no.]
...Hello? [There's no mistaking that voice now that Oswin's identified it, but she's not entirely sure if the Doctor's in her body or somewhere else entirely or what is even going on.]
no subject
Hearing his own voice doesn't worry him, not right away. Because he hears his own voice all the time and it's sometimes hard to tell between what he says out loud and what he says in his head.
What he does notice is that he's in a distinctly different position now than he was before, with the warm weight of a larger body against his back. Frowning slightly, he looks around.
At himself.]
...Well this is new.
[And that's definitely not his voice.]
no subject
[Right, that's definitely the Doctor, then.
She scowls down at him...her. Her body. Blimey, is she really that small to him?] Don't suppose you've got any sort of explanation.
no subject
Oh no.]
Ah! You! You have both my hearts, give one back!
[Oh this is miserable.]
How do you live like this?!
[He goes to clutch at his single heart, but there is a pair of breasts in the way. Weird.]
What are--oh.
no subject
Wait what is he doing.]
Oi, hands off! [His arms are longer than hers, so Oswin's swat to her own hands it somewhat uncoordinated.] I've got to go back to that!
no subject
And then she swats his hands away and he blinks, surprised.] What, I was only trying to figure out what was wrong with you! At least you haven't put on weight, I was worried.
How do you even manage to run with these things in the way?
no subject
She huffs.] 'Cause I've usually got this thing called a bra on. And you're going to need one 'til we've got this sorted out. [Which hopefully won't be too long but still.]
no subject
[Oswin's voice is so strange.
He pokes at her breasts again.]
They're all soft and squishy. Is that normal?
no subject
[She pulls his hands away again, scowling.] Now, quit it, m'not getting my body back all groped.
[The last thing she wants to think about is the Doctor touching her breasts. No, thank you.]
no subject
[You never know, neural transmitting over to another body could do some harm.]
no subject
Huff.] Right. Well. Think we've got more important things to focus on right now. [She reaches up to brush her hair out of her face. How does he see with this flopping in his eyes?]
no subject
[He slides off the bed, surprised as he looks around.] ...Did everything get taller?
no subject
You got smaller, dear. [Oswin makes to follow suit, stumbling a few steps as her feet hit the ground.] How d'you steer this thing?
[After a moment, she finds her footing and looks down at her body, tilting her head in a manner that is very Oswin and not so much Doctor.] ...Is that really how short I am?
no subject
You're very short, yes.
no subject
Coming from the giraffe. [Hrmph. Folding her arms, Oswin glares at him in a pose that's just a little too feminine for the body she's in.] Any idea how to get us back to normal?
no subject
no subject
Being in a different body doesn't change how much of a brat she is.]
no subject
[He sighs, running a hand through his hair. Which is much, much longer than he's used to and it goes all over the place.]
no subject
[Speaking of hair, she pushes her own (for now) back out of her eyes again.]
